Evening Worship

We believe that the Lord's Day is a time to be completely refreshed in the things of Christ. To that end we practice opening and closing the day in a time of public worship.

Close the Lord's Day with us in Worship

Sunday Evening Worship time is at 6:00 p.m.

We invite you to join us as we worship God through Jesus Christ on Sunday evening. It used to be common for believers to meet together later in the day on Sunday. We find evidence of this in the New Testament (Acts. 20:7).

Some think of Sunday as family day or a personal day. While we do believe that it is appropriate to find physical rest and enjoy family time, it is primarily the Lord's Day. It has been blessed and set apart by Him in a special way.

It is our conviction to continue this profitable Christian practice. We look forward to meeting you Sunday night as we search the scriptures, and learn how to serve Christ together in His kingdom. Please join us for a great time of encouragement, preaching, and fellowship before you begin your week.

What does God require in the fourth commandment?

“In the first place, that the ministry of the Gospel and schools be maintained; and that I, especially on the day of rest, diligently attend church to learn the Word of God, to use the Holy Sacraments, to call publicly upon the Lord, and to give Christian alms. In the second place, that all the days of my life I rest from my evil works, allow the Lord to work in me by His Spirit, and thus begin in this life the everlasting Sabbath.”
